Java Presentation

So in our lecture of about 20 people we got split into 4 groups (we were the golden moles). Each group had to research a design pattern assigned to us by the lecturer. There would be a vote off to decide whose was the best presentation. We had to do the strategy pattern.
So the group met up in the library to make the presentation we decided to fill our slides with Megan Fox a Bugati Veyron and a nuclear explosion. The entire class was guys so ya know we thought it be a good way to keep there attention and get some laughs.
Turns out when the voting happened one group turned round and asked us "Were you the guys with Megan Fox in your slides?". Turned out we won unanimously :D

The craziest week of my life ( so far) part 1

It all started on Monday the 26th of November at the skydiving social. We started off in a pub/club called Barracuda. This girl Natalie came over and talked to me, we got on really well and she basically forced me to give her my number. She then mentioned she was engaged so I figured that she was just looking for a friend.

Whilst at Barracuda we played beer pong and handed out free butterscotch schnapps (gorgeous). During the games I got introduced to this girl, Amie, she seemed pretty cool very flirty girl. I decided I wasn't interested as a few guys seemed interested in her and I couldn't be arsed with competition. She kept popping over to say hi and have a bit of a chat but that was the extent of it. The drinking games got more intense and we ended up having a boat race. Amie was on my team and downed her pint in seconds our team was well ahead of the other so I took my time with my pint :P.

As the night went on Natalie and I talked more had more alcohol but I was really curious as to why she was talking with me so keenly. So I asked her "Are you attracted to me." to which she answered "oh boy was hoping you wouldn't say that". She said she was and that her boyfriend wasn't treating her that well and that they had different goals in life. We steered away from that topic and just decided to enjoy the night as we all moved to a club (Aruba).

Aruba was playing your typical pop music but I was too drunk to care. The night started to get awesome as we all started getting more drunk. Natalie went home early because she had to be up early. The bar alarm went off to say that there was 10p shots going down. I bought 20 :D.

At this point Amie started coming over and talking to me a lot more we danced a bit but nothing more. I think the other guys who were interested in her got jealous of this so they tried to get her attention. I wasn't that bothered so I thought I'll leave them to it went to get a drink. As I'm ordering my drink Amie comes over again one other guy tries to get her attention I leave again as they are getting off and can't be arsed watching that. She keeps coming over to me and I keep leaving as that guy comes to her. The guy left for the night not sure why.

I was walking round looking for people and Amie comes over and drags me into the girls bathroom :D but the bouncer saw and kicked us out :(. I was thinking to myself this girl is crazy, we haven't even kissed before. We snuck back inside to say bye to people. I went outside looking for her after I said laters to the guys she was in a taxi so I knocked on the window she motioned for me to get in.

You know what I'm going to leave it at that. Part 2 when I can be bothered and it will be about the week I spent talking to Natalie not the rest of this night :P

Newcastle

Went and stayed with Doug in Newcastle over the weekend. We went the Baltic art museum where there was a community art table filled with jenga pieces which of course we messed round with, wish I took pictures. After the Baltic closed we went to Stateside an Amreican dinner restaurant. I ate a decent 8oz steak and a gorgeous Kinder Bueno american milkshake.
The next day we went rock climbing at this bouldering center. It was strange because there was no routes it was just formed wall so Im guessing it would get boring after a few visits. After climbing we went and played basketball at a public basketball court. Let give you some details about the court. Its like the cage in the U.S. but on ground level with tennis courts next to it. The atmosphere there was great strangers becoming friends because of there love of basketball and playing for fun.

Now What?

So I just handed in my last pieice of In Course Assesment this morning. I thought I would be esctatic about it. But then it hit me I have no more work to do... at all. I then suddenly lost all drive to do anything because really there was nothing to do.
But I'm inspired by Michael J. Fox's documentary on optimism and the last ever scene from Scrubs to be more optimistic and not start this summer bored, to live every summer day to it's fullest.

A Good Night

Last night I ran into an old friend at the Crown. I mentioned I was on the pull so he pointed out a friend of his and said shes not taked why don't I introduce you. I told him it would be a bit weird as its his friend. Later on in the night I tell him this cringe worthy chat up line:

"Excuse me did you fart?... Cus you blew me away". He asked me if I have ever used it. "Hell no, you heard it, it's ridiculous!". His response "I will give you a tenner right now to go over to my friend and use that line!". My response ... " HELL YEA!"

Dream

Started with Jenny, Toddy and I on a road trip to some beach, I was riding shotgun Toddy was driving. We parked up on the beach next to what looked like a restaurant. The restaurant was made of wood and was on wooden beams and it had a balcony over looking the beach.

We went inside and it was completly empty no tables nothing, we soon found out why. We looked out to the beach and a huge wave was coming, so we ran up the beach to where we could see people. The wave came up the beach steadily engulfed the restaurant and Toddys car.

When the water cleared Toddy went to check on his car which had moved to below the restaurant. I went to prod these massive sea slugs. I then went back in the restaurant, it looked really cool like a scene from Bioshock with the wood soaking and water driping everywhere. I turned to the balcony and saw that another big wave was getting ready to come. I started to bang on the floor to tell Toddy. Thats all I remember.

Top Gear Dream

I dreamt I was in the back of my friend Milners car he was in the back with me and we saw this awesome sports car drive past us. We both googled at it until we couldn't see it, then we saw another car. Now these cars were not just fancy sports cars they looked like they cost well over 500,000 pounds so we were astonished that we saw just saw a million pounds drive past us.
I was a bit suspicious that two £500 grand cars were driving around our home town then suddenly we saw Jeremy Clarkson drive by in that weird 3 wheeled car bike thing and I pointed and did my speechless face thing at him and he saw me and sarcasticly copied me. Later in the dream we stopped by when Jeremy broke down and we had a chat and then end of dream.

Am I the only one who wants Ed back?

I Want Ed Dhandapani back in Scrubs he was AWESOME! He was by far the best intern and if Scrubs wants to continue without the main cast they will have to bring Ed back to keep audiences.

An Idea

When I make games I dont want them to have those menus where it says start game. I want it to be just put in the game disc and bang new game.

I miss the sea

Went surfing the other day for the first time in my life it was awesome! But it made me realise how much I miss the sea where I used to live. Anyway I decided that I am going to start swimming.

Dreams

Monsoon:
I'm in the water of the coast of a beach with Jack Johnson. Suddenly current takes us round the corner of a cliff and the water begins to swell... upwards into a massive hill of water suddenly we start to fly out of the water up and round the corner of another cliff. I see upward water falls as we fly uncontrollaby towards the moon.
